Big Ben Throws 4 INTs in Loss Against the Giants

It was a battle of great quarterbacks in Big Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning. It was a battle between arguably two of the best defenses in the NFL, but the Super Bowl champion New York Giants showed why they were the better team on Sunday night.

Through three quarters of play, this possible Super Bowl preview was living up to the hype with the Steelers leading 14-9, but the fourth quarter was another story altogether as the Giants outscored Pittsburgh in the fourth quarter 12-0.

The Giants defense in the final quarter was just suffocating as they consistently sacked Big Ben (5) and picked off number 7 a total of 4 times. It wasn't just containing Roethlisberger that resulted in the sixth win of season for the Giants, a key safety after a long snap flew over the head of the punter into the back of the endzone.

Although for the majority of the game was a well fought fight for both teams, the Giants were just too much for the Steelers on Sunday beating Pittsburgh 21-14.

The only real positive to come out this game in week 8 was another good game out of running back Mewelde Moore who rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown. With Moore becoming a consistent back, the Steelers will be able to depend more on the running back thus limiting the pressure on Big Ben.
